ITV Studios is to offer everyone working on its productions the opportunity to report bad behaviour via the Call It! app.

The company is the first major partner to sign up to the app, which collects anonymous reporting of bullying, harassment and related issues and enables employers to address problems in the workplace by routinely asking ‘how were you treated at work today?’

Call It! was rolled out on ITV Studios/Keshet’s BBC1 co-pro Ralph and Katie as part of a concentrated inclusion and accessibility drive on the drama series, which has two lead actors with Down’s Syndrome and a primarily disabled writing team.

The series’ producer, Jules Hussey, developed the app with Victoria director Delyth Thomas and Sounds Like London producer Kate Wilson.

ITVS now plans to offer it as standard on all its shows made by its portfolio of production companies.

As well as clocking workplace incidents, the app also provides access to employers’ employers’ ‘Dignity at Work’ policies and procedures for formal reporting, and signposting to third party support and resources.

ITVS managing director Julian Bellamy said the app complements its existing duty of care measures and will help production team leaders to identify issues early and manage them in a timely and appropriate fashion.

The not-for-profit app is now on offer across the industry.
