Veteran drama producer Christine Healy is to head up Keshet UK’s scripted output as the company’s first chief operating officer.
Healy will develop original series for the UK arm of the Israeli production company and will also look to adapt English-language versions of its established shows.
Keshet has previously co-produced BBC1’s The A Word, an adaptation of its series Yellow Peppers, with Fifty Fathoms, as well as the drama's spin-off Ralph and Katie, a co-pro with ITV Studios.
Healy’s initial slate will include an adaptation of Keshet’s A Body That Works, a drama series about the impact of surrogacy on family relationships.
She was previously at drama indie Watford & Essex and prior to that, was head of production at All3Media scripted label New Pictures. She has also worked as a producer for Drama Republic, Left Bank, Company Pictures, World Productions, BBC Studios and ITV Studios.
Healey will report to Keshet UK managing director and Greenbird co-MD Jamie Munro.
