The English: BBC2 drama series is nominated in four categories, including one for its titles design
BBC2 drama The English leads the way in this year's Royal Television Society Craft & Design awards, with four nominations.
Hugo Blick's Western series, produced by Drama Republic with Eight Rooks, is in the running in the Costume Design – Scripted, Design – Titles, Music Original Score – Scripted and Production Design - Scripted categories.
A clutch of shows have scored three nominations, including BBC1's SAS Heroes (Kudos/Nebulastar), Channel 4 drama series Somewhere Boy (Clerkenwell Films), BBC Studios' Eurovision Song Contest coverage from Liverpool, and Sky dramas I Hate Suzie Too (Bad Wolf) and Funny Woman (Potboiler Productions/Rebel Park Productions).
Battling it out in the newest category, production management - introduced last year - are Georgie Emary-Witts for The Garden's 24 Hours in Police Custody, Shiva Talwar for BBC doc Inside Our Autistic Minds (BBC Studios/Open University), and the BBC Studios team that worked on Eurovision.
The winners will be announced on 4 December.
