Glasgow-based post-production house Arteus has gone into administration.
The company, which bought existing business 422.tv in 2012 and has been operating under its current name since then, is understood to have told staff yesterday that it is making all 13 positions redundant with immediate effect.
Debbie Kelly, a post-production producer who originally joined 422.tv in 2010, confirmed the news today on a LinkedIn post.
The Talent Manager has also spoken to head of facilities and production Sharon Fullarton, who said that while Arteus had clients in all genres of programming, challenges in the unscripted sector had contributed to the company's fate.
The full-service facility has delivered editing, grading, sound design and motion graphics.
Clients have included BBC Studios (BBC comedy Two Doors Down and fact ent format Ultimate Wedding Planner), Lion TV (BBC2’s Stolen: Catching the Art Thieves), Tern Television (BBC doc Dolly the Sheep that Changed the World and Channel 4’s Flights From Hell: Caught on Camera) and Studio Lambert (BBC drama Nest).
Last year, Arteus was one of 30 companies involved in launching ScreenSkills’ inaugural Production Manager Programme.
