Outline Productions’ slate will come under the wing of sister label Blink’s execs after Helen Veale followed co-founder Laura Mansfield in exiting the company after 25 years.
Veale said it is “now time for something new” as she steps down as creative director, adding that having exploring brand partnerships and AFP projects, she now wants to explore the “new ways that the creative skills of TV translate into a broader range of partnerships and platforms in broadcasting and beyond”.
The duo founded the unscripted label in 1999. Its productions include Remarkable Places to Eat, a format that ran for series on BBC2 before switching to More 4, and a string of shows fronted by talent such as Sarah Beeny, Michel Roux, Andi Oliver and Rochelle Humes.
Mansfield recently stood down as managing director to take up the role of chief executive of Screenskills.
Outline has been part of Tin Roof Media since 2017 and now Blink’s creative directors Dan Chambers and Justine Kershaw will pick up its production and development slate.
Meanwhile, production management and operations will be overseen by Tin Roof director of operations Ulla Streib.
