The creator and producer of Netflix’s At Home with the Furys has launched an indie with the Workerbee Group.

Demi Doyle’s Navybee will build on the former Optomen exec’s reputation for talent-led premium documentaries in entertainment and sport.

As well as Netflix doc, she also worked with boxer Tyson Fury on ITV’s Tyson Fury: The Gypsy King. Her other credits include BBC1’s Sort Your Life Out with Stacey Solomon and ITV2’s Olivia Attwood: Getting Filthy Rich.

Naybee is the first indie to be launched by Banijay UK’s Workerbee Group, which was formed in 2022 to expand Workerbee’s reach in the nations and regions and in different genres.

Workerbee Group chief executive Rick Murray described Doyle as “the most contacted TV producer I know”.

He added: “Demi is one of the UK’s most sought-after documentary producers and someone that talent wants to work with again and again. She brings an exciting new talent-focussed dimension to Workerbee’s premium documentary slate.”

Doyle has also worked on shows such as RDF’s The Secret Life of 4/5/6 Year Olds, Boundless’ The Apprentice, Twofour’s Educating Cardiff and Studio Lambert’s Gogglebox and Naked Attraction.
