The Creative Diversity Network (CDN) is asking freelancers to help shape the future of its Diamond data monitoring system.

In answering a short series of questions, freelancers can provide crucial insights into how the Diamond data is used and share their thoughts on the changes they would like to see.

CDN chief executive Miranda Wayland [main picture] is seeking to ascertain awareness of both Diamond and the CDN and their influence on the industry, and the amount of diversity forms that freelancers are required to complete on a typical production.

Since the first Diamond report seven years ago, more than 7.5 million contributions from freelancers have informed the benchmark reports.

The next iteration of Diamond will include religious beliefs and socio-economic background as diversity criteria for the first time.

Last week, the CDN formed a strategic partnership with Screen Skills to collaborate on training and development and deliver a “streamlined approach” to the freelance community.
