PACT’s Indie Diversity Training Scheme

If you are Glasgow based and have a disability or are from a BAME or Socially disadvantaged background this could be an ideal way for you to kick-start your career in the TV industry. The Indie Diversity Scheme is run by PACT, which is the trade association representing the interests of the UK’s Independent TV and film producers.

The programme is looking for people with a genuine passion for television and who are based in Scotland who are able to work in Glasgow. This opportunity will allow you to explore all areas of the industry whether you are interested in production or editorial.

The program runs over 6 months where you will get great training alongside a number of companies such as Raise the Roof Productions, IWC Media, STV Glasgow, Lion Television Glasgow and Tern Television. Alongside the training you will also be able to learn more about how the industry works and try to find what you are looking to do within it.

The deadline for the scheme is midnight on Friday 3rd March 2017.
