In addition to Raw and Optomen using TTM exclusively – lots of other companies are joining us to search our database and post jobs and the feedback we are getting is fantastic. Here's what one employer said this week:

"The Talent Manager is AMAZING! I have been tearing my hair out trying to find an SP and having absolutely no luck. One night of an ad in your site and i've had 9 replies! Terrific!"
- Wendy Rattray, STV

Most importantly lots of freelancers are getting work via the site -and we are keen to keep track of success stories via Facebook facebook.com/thetalentmanager, Twitter @tvtalentmanager or good old fashioned email: alex@thetalentmanager.co.uk

Thanks to Sharon and Abi - just two of the many TM 'matches' this week.

Key site updates

We're constantly looking for ways to ensure The Talent Manager meets the needs of both freelancers and employers, and over the past few months we've been gathering your feedback to make key improvements. Here's a few ammendments we've made over the past month:

  • Dates on profile views - Pro Members will notice that we've now added dates to stats about your profile views, so you can see who's recently been interested in your profile.
  • Targeted job alerts - We're working to make sure that the email alerts you receive are as relevant as possible - that's why we've made adding a job title and location compulsary when editing your profile. If you've yet to add yours, you'll start to notice less information on the latest vacancies, so make sure you fill this in asap.
  • FAQ's - If you're ever stuck, you can now visit our dedicated FAQ pages for both Freelancers and Companies. Get in touch if we're missing anything!
  • Fuller job ads - Wherever possible we're asking companies to provide as much key information as possible about their jobs, ensuring you stand the best chance when selling your skills, and that companies hear from the right applicants.
  • Profile information - If you've been working on 60 minute programmes rather than 50 minutes, you can now ammend this in your credits. Added job titles also include Post Production Co-ordinator, Agent and Chaperone.

Please do get in touch if you have any ideas for how we can improve the service and make it something that works really well for you.
