A new entertainment indie is set to join the market from two of the brains behind BBC hits Pointless, The Wall and Richard Osman's House of Games.

ITV Studios is backing the company, Rollercoaster Television, which has been set up by Remarkable Television executives James Fox and Dom Waugh.

The label will sit alongside fellow entertainment producers Potato, 12 Yard and Lifted Entertainment in ITV Studios’ portfolio. Fox and Waugh will join ITVS later this year.

The duo have been at the Banijay-owned production company for an indie, with Fox currently co-managing director and Waugh director of content. Fox’s co-MD Kitty Walshe will continue in her role in a solo capacity.

Other key Remarkable shows that bear the duo’s imprint include Channel 4’s The Million Pound Drop, BBC1’s All Together Now and upcoming ITV show Starstruck.
