ITV Studios exec Angela Jain is to head up a portfolio of 11 labels after becoming the group’s first director of unscripted.
Jain will join ITVS’ UK management team when she takes up the newly-created role in January. The companies under her watch comprise Lifted Entertainment; The Garden; Twofour; Possessed; Boom; Potato; 12 Yard Productions; So Television; Multistory Media; Oxford Scientific Films; and Rollercoaster Television.
Jain is currently managing director of Lifted Entertainment, the label previously known as ITV Studios Entertainmnt, which produces shows such as I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here, Saturday Night Takeaway, The Voice UK, Countdown and Love Island.
ITVS plans to look for her successor at Lifted shortly.
Jain previously managed ITV’s digital channels and its acquisitions team, having previously run ITV2. She has previously overseen E4 and held commissioner roles at both Channel 4 and Channel 5.
