Increased visibility
We've opened up the site so that people can take a peek at the directory before they've registered. Employers searching for someone specific can see whether they have a TM profile before logging on and freelancers can share their profile URL allowing companies and colleagues to see their credits at a glance.
We've also improved SEO so that individuals can be more readily found in popular search engines, giving that vital boost.
Don't forget though individuals can still unpublish profiles if they don't want to appear in searches.
UPDATE 5th July:
If you'd prefer to remain published on the site, but simply hide your profile from search engines, you can now select to hide your profile under the 'Profile Essentials' tab.
Tighter privacy
We know that with increased visibility privacy becomes a much bigger issue, which is why we've kept your key contact information hidden to anyone not registerd with a valid company account. Other freelancers will only be able to contact you or access your CV if you accept a network request from them - giving you control to only share your details with those you trust.
Easier to connect
Those on our Pro Membership can now add a personal message when sending a network request - giving you the opportunity to easily approach new contacts and personally express why you'd like to connect with them.
Companies and Pro members can also use the site to quickly send a message via someone's profile page, which are sent directly to the freelancer via email. Again, this allows for profiles to be more accessible without directly displaying personal email addresses.
Over the next few weeks we'll be rolling out more improvements across the site, if you have any suggestions please feel free to put them forward - info@thetalentmanager.co.uk
Until then, enjoy exploring!
