Factual indie Arrow International Media has promoted talent manager Julia Hardwell to head of talent.
Hardwell, who joined the producer in 2019, will oversee all hiring and managing of UK and US staff and freelancers, will be tasked with creating and delivering training programmes and delivering Arrow’s diversity and inclusion policy in the workplace.
Hardwell started as a production manager at the BBC and later worked in talent mangement at ITV and then studio management on shows including Later with Jools Holland, Take Me Out and Catchphrase.
“Throughout my career, I’ve been passionate about supporting and developing careers within an industry that is notoriously difficult to navigate,” said Hardwell. “I’m thrilled to be leading the Talent team at Arrow to help build a fantastic pool of talent as the company continues to grow and expand its portfolio.”
Meanwhile, Kyran Speirs becomes head of post-production, an internal promotion.
The moves follow the recent appointments of heads of production Stephanie Mavropoulos and Carrie Pennifer.
