We have made some key changes to the way ‘availablity’ works on The Talent Manager, which will be rolled out from Friday 5th July 2013.
To ensure employers have accurate information, freelancers will now need to confirm their availability weekly to continue to come up in search results and avoid their status defaulting to ‘unknown’.
In fact when free we now advise freelancers to click the confirmation button daily to maximise their exposure in searches. Individuals will be able to input as much ‘unavailability’ as required but the database will only block you out for 14 free days at any one time.
If you're unavailable working in a permanent role, you can now select 'Staff job' as an alternative to marking yourself as constantly unavailable.
Update your availability now >
We've also made some changes to editing your profile, with sections broken down so that filling in your info is now easier and quicker.
It's clear to see how your profile appears in search results from your new dashboard preview, allowing you to organise your credits and skills to display your most relevant in this summary view. The progress bar also now gives an indication of your profile completion as you go along.
The breakdown for how this progress bar is calculated is now as follows:
Profile Essentials = 25%
Credits (at least 1) = 25%
Skills = 10%
Availability Calendar = 10%
Contact Essentials = 10%
Request a testimonial = 10%
Pro Enhanced Profile = 10%
