SBTV, co-producer of Channel 4 talk show Unapologetic, has named Isaac Densu as managing director.
Densu has been chief creative officer for the company since 2016 and steps up following the untimely passing of its founder, media entrepreneur Jamal Edwards, in February.
Prior to joining SBTV, Densu was a development producer at Four to the Floor indie Lemonade Money and a commissioner at Channel 4, focusing on short-form content for All4. He has also worked for All3Media company Little Dot Studios and entertainment producer Yalli Productions.
He is one of the executive producers of Unapologetic, which SBTV co-produces with Cardiff Productions. In October last year, the show became the first of C4’s ‘Black to Front’ shows to earn a series commission.
SBTV was started as a music-focused YouTube channel and has been credited with breaking artists including Stormzy, Ed Sheeran and Dave.
