Factual indie Big Little Fish has hired a former exec at RDF label Fizz TV as its first creative director.
Peter Usher, who has executive produced ITV game show Tipping Point and Channel 4 series Britain’s Most Expensive Homes, will be tasked with growing the indie’s factual entertainment output.
He will identify and nurture returnable factual series and fact ent formats and also oversee Big Little Fish’s talent relationships and will sit on the senior management team.
Since its launch in 2019, the internationally-focused indie’s output has included C4 doc The Lancaster Bomber at 80 with David Jason and Discovery commissions Born Mucky: Life on the Farm and The Curse of the Highgate Vampire.
Co-founder Steve Jones stepped down at the end of last year.
