CBS exec to head drama at Sky Studios

Sky Studios has hired the CBS exec behind US drama Your Honour as its first director of original drama.

Meghan Lyvers will oversee all of Sky’s UK drama commissions and will also bring her global experience to bear on European and international productions.

She joins this summer from CBS Studios, where she is senior vice-president and head of international co-productions and development.

Lyvers has also overseen Neflix true crime series Unbelievable and upcoming projects including Sky thriller Munich Games.

Prior to CBS Studios, she set up the TV division of US entertainment agency Entertainment 360, then known as Management 360.

Sky’s drama slate includes The Tattooist of Auschwitz from Synchronicity Films and recommissioned shows I Hate Suzie and Cobra.

Lyvers will join this summer, reporting to Sky Studios chief executive Cécile Frot-Coutaz.
