Diversity consultancy D&I has hired a former ITV diversity champion as its talent development co-ordinator.
Leeds-based Sam Fray joins the company, which offers support on recruitment, law and talent development, following a short stint as talent contracts coordinator on Channel 4 show Steph’s Packed Lunch.
She also runs her own production consultancy Boujie Media and has previously delivered production training for Channel 4 as director of talent development at thinkBIGGER!.
Fray got her break at ITV, where she spent six years, latterly as co-chair of ITV’s BAME staff network Embrace, championing the diversity agenda across the company, hosting special screenings of diverse programmes and running workshops and events supporting BAME audiences and colleagues.
D&I – which stands for Diverse and Inclusive – is aligned to the TriForce Creative Network, the company set up in 2004 by actors Fraser Ayres and Jimmy Akingbola to showcase and open doors for diverse talent.
