How can I reframe my cv to be relevant to people hiring P/Ds in the UK?

I think the issue with my cv is a lot of my early work was in South Asia including some amazing docs. The skills and experience are still relevant but I think I may be being overlooked because they aren’t UK-centric? Will adding more technical expertise help?
