I am looking at making the move to Vancouver later this year, from the UK where i currently work as a Junior Production Manager. Can anyone point me in the right direction as to where to look for job out there? Happy to move back down to co-ord level, I can't seem to find very much for my role! Thanks in advance!

I recently made the move to Vancouver to work as a PM in broadcast/documentary. It's hard!!! Namely down to provincial tax credits - you must either be a Permanent Resident or Canadian. It's a case of finding a company that hasn't accounted for these tax credits prior to budgeting and keeping fingers crossed that they can see the benefit of hiring a non-local or be prepared to take a big pay cut as compensation. Be prepared to hustle and keep hustling! Unfortunately, there are no go-to TV job sites like there are in the UK, although there are a few Facebook groups I can suggest and a couple of generic sites. There are also unions to consider if you want to do down the drama genre route... When are you planning to make the move?
