Overview
Our CV workshops are small, friendly sessions hosted by TM's Becs Hall and led by an experienced talent manager from one of the top production companies.
For this session, Becs is joined by Laura Mackay, Talent Executive at IWC Media to chat about what makes a CV and Cover Letter stand out and what should and shouldn't be included. We then share your CVs with the group and you get the opportunity to put your specific CV questions to Laura.
Laura joined IWC Media as Talent Manager in 2008. She is the first port of call for industry freelancers at every stage of their careers, from new entrants to established Executive Producers and everyone in between.
Laura’s primary role is to engage with and source excellent creative talent to work at IWC and to help guide, develop and nurture that talent. She works across crewing up all of our productions at both their main Glasgow office and their office in London.
This workshop is an inclusive and insightful event that gives you individual advice and guidance on your own CV and how you can make sure you are showcasing your skillset and work experience in the most impressive way to ensure success when going after that next gig. You will be able to send your CV to us ahead of the event and will receive feedback specific to your resume.

Only 15 spaces are available, so it's first come first served - if you are selected to attend, we will email you asking to confirm your place and to send across a copy of your CV for the talent manager to look over before the event starts. If you have not received this separate email invite, that means you do not have a place on this particular session, but we will make sure you are on the list for the next workshop.
Priority will be given to those who haven't attended a CV workshop previously.
