It was a privilege to collaborate with the programme makers and a joy to create the graphic design for this very special single documentary film to explore the recorded history and legacy of rebuilding Coventry Cathedral after it's partial destruction during the blitz. The challenge was to create a style that drew upon 20th Century modernist design but still add a contemporary flavour. Established in a short animated title sequence - https://vimeo.com/557542760?share=copy this approach would then feature and influence the graphic design throughout the film including several chapter headings, captions and a vast library of textures and unique split screen layouts, for which, a kit of parts was created that allowed for a multitude of graphic combinations.
