Development Executive
Description
Mindhouse Productions is seeking an experienced Development Executive or Head of Development to join our team to provide 12 months’ maternity cover for our Head of Development.
Applicants should have at least three years’ experience working within unscripted TV at Development Executive or Head of Development level. Please do not apply unless you have this experience.
We are looking for a highly organised individual with proven experience of successfully running a busy development team, managing a large slate of ideas, and keeping systems in place to ensure development runs efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a granular understanding of the current commissioning landscape and contacts across UK broadcasters, US networks and streaming platforms. They will have proven examples of winning commissions in the unscripted content space, particularly premium boxsets, contemporary history, talent-led series and access driven documentary series. We are looking for a journalistic ideas generator who is a strong writer.
The role is full time and will be based in our London office with a start date of early January 2025.
