Series Car Producer
Description
Car Producer needed for a multi part car restoration series.
You will need to understand the practicalities, and realities, of TV production as well as having an encyclopedic knowledge of the car restoration process.
You will…
• Be the main point of contact between production, on screen and off-screen restoration centers.
• Manage the movement of multiple vehicles and their off-screen prep so they are ready for filming.
• Be across the car restoration workflow to identify any problems as soon as possible, liaising closely with the off-screen
restoration center to ensure cars and parts are ordered and delivered on time.
• Help keep track of the ongoing restoration costs.
• Be able to write detailed, informative and entertaining job beat sheets identifying what is interesting about each restoration job, the ‘TV steps’ in each job and then color it with social history and car trivia.
• Have peer to peer conversations at a technical level with garages, car experts and others within the car field.
• Find, identify and help secure the project cars to offer a range of stories, jobs and cars.
• Work collaboratively as part of a small team.
• And know the difference between a clutch slave cylinder and a clutch master cylinder.Company Name
