Floor Runner

Description

Shine TV is offering a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Floor Runner based in the Midlands to join the MasterChef team. The role will run from 14th April through to 25th July 2025 for MasterChef which has relocated to a brand-new studio in Birmingham.

The candidate should have previous runner experience on a fast-moving production. Key responsibilities will involve the following:


• Ensuring the production office and dining area remain clean and organised, including end of day clean up
• Keeping the studio clean and organised, including end of day clean up
• Assisting the casting team with catering for contributors
• Supporting the Floor Manager in ensuring contestants are on set promptly
• Helping with studio resets and packing for location shoots
• Preparing dressing rooms for talent arrival
• Providing tea and coffee runs for talent and contestants
• Assisting the art team as needed
• Standing in during lighting repositions
• Maintaining a tidy and efficient workspace

Applicants must fulfil the following criteria:

- Have 3 previous credits in a runner role
- Previous customer service / hospitality / barista role is a bonus
- Have a full UK driving license and be comfortable driving a long wheelbase van.
- Over 25 years old for insurance purposes
- Live within 45 mins of the studio in Digbeth due to early starts & late finishes
