Description

Excellent self-shooting skills – confident on FX6/FX9 (or similar), with strong sound and lighting know-how. You’ll often be shooting solo in fast-moving, unrepeatable situations, so you must be able to get it right first time
Solid PD credits in factual entertainment or obs-doc, ideally on a broadcaster series
A natural ability to put contributors at ease and draw out genuine emotion and humour
Strong storytelling instincts and the ability to spot the story as it unfolds on the day
Experience directing multi-camera shoots and leading a small crew on location
Good editorial judgement, with sound knowledge of Ofcom compliance and duty of care
Organisation and resilience – weddings don’t wait, and long, unpredictable days come with the territory
A full UK driving licence as travel will be required around the UK
