Assistant Producer

Description

We are looking for an AP / Senior AP with strong obs-doc experience for our primetime hospital access based series, Surgeons: A Matter of Life or Death (C5).
To apply for this role, you will need to either have experience working on hospital based series or documentaries, and/or have a crime obs-doc background or similar experience of on the ground filming within institutions that require sensitive access.
The role involves supporting a Senior Producer and PD on location within a busy hospital; being across casting, contributor care, story, compliance, and consent. We are looking for someone who enjoys building relationships, with strong communication skills. It would be advantageous if you have previous experience in finding contributors for hospital observational documentaries - patients, clinicians and other hospital staff. A good understanding of medical environments would also be an advantage.
This role is based on location at the hospital, so do be expected to spend time away from home for a number of consecutive overnights.
We are looking for someone to start around mid November for potentially 18-20 weeks - length of contract to be confirmed.
