Forward Planning AP

Description

We are looking for an experienced AP for a returning series with Richard Hammond based around a classic car restoration workshop.

Dates:
To start early January 2025 for a six month contract

Location:
This is largely a work from home position. The Workshop is based in Hereford, so would need to be willing to spend one to two nights there a week if required. We film at events all over the UK, so other location travel as required. Please note, due to the nature of these events they often take place at the weekend.

Key Skills/Requirements are:
- An interest and/or knowledge about cars and a reasonable knowledge of the car world would be preferred but not essential. Experience in other general human interest programmes also beneficial.
- Looking for someone who has a real passion and enthusiasm for finding good stories, good characters from all walks of life and the ability to find the humour in a situation.
- This role requires someone with excellent logistic and organisational skills and someone who has the confidence to run shoot day schedules with a calm and clear head. The forward planning AP is responsible for the planning and execution of all the events we feature across the series, from racing to car shows etc.
- Shooting experience would be beneficial but not essential

Additional information:
- Car events often take place at the weekends. So weekend work will be required (compensated accordingly)
- Needs to be able to drive
