Shooting everything from nature documentaries for a variety of broadcasters (BBC, Discovery, Arte, CBC, National Geographic and more) to serial television and one off documentaries, as well as corporate and commercial work, I believe that technology is always at the service of humans. The best camera in the world doesn't mean much if the story is boring and the characters suck - but if the story is kick-ass and the characters on fire you can shoot it on an iphone and people will pay to see it:) That being said, cameras and tech matters, of course. In an ideal world, everything lines up, and there is nothing more beautiful and rewarding than to be part of that. I love this job, the people you meet and the places you go, and the intense and deep connections you forge as you're at it.
