About Me
Nik created some gorgeous music for a short film I directed : ShopGirl Blog, and he was a joy to work with. Highly talented and creative (of course!), but also fast and intuitive. There were some original cues and some reworks of Oi Va Voi tracks (his former band). His music transformed the film and added real atmosphere. He understands - and likes working with - directors. He is a great collaborator - you'll have fun, he'll deliver what you need and more!
Nik worked with me on four series - from subjects ranging from the rise of the Nazis to Hawaiian warriors, from Biblical mysteries to CIA operations. All were high volume and and highly constructed, so music was critical to bringing in a sense of drama. We relied on this tracks a lot. He was aways a pleasure to work with, quickly grasping the different moods and emotions we needed to convey and his music was always exactly right for the subject. He was swift and thoughtful when it came to revisions and was always eager to work with the production team to make the films better.
