I am a multi-camera and fixed rig gallery director who has worked on high profile reality, reality competition, documentary and factual entertainment formats both in the UK and abroad. I started my career in the camera department nineteen years ago and naturally progressed to directing. Having been a camera op and a director means I can bring a greater skill set and understanding to either role. I am able to bring a knowledge and empathy for both sides of the technical and editorial spectrum. My passion for TV led me to become a lecturer and module leader for the multi camera and entertainment modules on the BA TV Production degree course at Middlesex University, between 2007 and 2015. It was so great to work alongside many of my ex-students in the industry who are equally as excited about the industry and as driven as I am. I am a calm and focussed director who works well under pressure on fast moving formats. I’m a real motivator, and place value on strong communication between departments. I believe it’s so important to have everyone on board and on the same page to make things run smoothly and efficiently, and to make great telly. Read Less
