As a confident and motivated young professional – I currently working as a Communications and Media Officer while studying part time towards an MLitt in Digital Journalism.I have worked with a number of reputable media and boradcast oganisations, including BBC, The Sun, Bauer Media, the Mail on Sunday (Scotland) and ITV. I have experience writing print and online press, writing features and op-eds, editing radio content, working to produce television packages and interviewing guests and the public for news purposes. I have acquired vast experience in a number of newsrooms and have been published by popular news outlets. I am determined to have a successful career in journalism, commentary and presenting. Throughout my work and studies, I have engaged in any and all opportunities offered to me, as I enjoy learning, being challenged and acquiring new skills and experiences. As my career progresses, I would like to step out of party politics, and pursue journalism as a means of investigating, interviewing, representing stories and people in a respectful manner and holding people to account.
