I have 29 years experience, including 6 years at BBC Birmingham, making primetime and daytime TV programmes for BBC 1 & 2, ITV1, Channel 4 & 5. I love ob doc and for 11 years have worked on C4 'A New Life In The Sun'. I edit documentaries as well as flagship current affairs programmes C4 'Dispatches', BBC2 'Newsnight' and ITV1 'Exposure'. I live in the North Yorkshire countryside and enjoyed working on ITV1 'Robson Green's Coastal Lives' which featured my village, C4 'The Yorkshire Dales and The Lakes' and C5 'This Week on the Farm". I love music and have a great sense of humour so naturally enjoyed working on ITV1 'Nation's Favourite Elton John Song', C5 'Gobsmacking Global Ads' and C4 'Random Acts' which were short films by first time directors. I am fast and precise, able to edit 5 minutes of TV a day. I help build the story, simplify, explain and deliver it. I bring together well-paced editing and astute music choices to create the highest quality programmes. My background and experience ensures inventive ideas and versatile solutions.
