My name is Laura Wadha, I am a Scottish/Syrian Assistant Producer based in London. I graduated from the National Film and Television School in 2020 and I’ve been working in TV for the past few years on series at Raw TV, Lightbox, Transistor Films, and Wag Entertainment for Netflix, A+E, ITV, and Ch5. In 2021 I was funded by Screen Scotland to direct a short personal documentary called Born in Damascus which launched on Guardian Documentaries in 2023. 

I have experience on location and working on sensitive access stories, as well as: casting, corresponding with contributors, sourcing archive, writing scripts and interview questions, scheduling, setting up shoots, and fact-checking. 

I can self-shoot (FS7) and have a good working knowledge of different editing softwares: Final Cut and Avid. Read Less
