I'm an experienced factual television professional with over eight years' experience across observational documentary, factual entertainment, reality and comedy, with credits for Discovery, BBC, Channel 4, RTÉ and Sky Atlantic.

Most recently, I've been working on Discovery Channel's Gold Rush in Canada's Yukon, story producing in challenging and unpredictable filming environments. Working closely with PDs, Series Producers and camera crews, I've helped develop storylines, set up sequences, conduct interviews and respond to unfolding events on location.

My experience spans story producing, self-shooting, casting, contributor management, location research, access negotiations and directing. I also originated, produced and directed my own BBC Northern Ireland documentary, Speed Merchants, taking it from initial pitch through filming and post-production.

I'm particularly confident building relationships with contributors, gaining trust and finding engaging, authentic stories. Contributor welfare is a priority, supported by my experience working with Autism Initiatives and recent certified training in safeguarding, risk assessment, equality and diversity.

My technical experience includes operating Sony FX9, Canon C300, A7S, GoPros, drone photography and gimbal operation, alongside second camera and data wrangling.

I'm interested in Story AP, Studio AP, Field Producer and Producer/Director opportunities across factual entertainment, observational documentary, reality, travel and character-led formats.Based in Northern Ireland, with extensive experience working across the UK, Ireland and North America, I'm available for UK and international productions.
