I really enjoyed this edit. Lots of beautifully shot interviews and evocations. I was able to transport the viewer in to the story through the evocations my choice of music.

This was a very enjoyable project to work on. I was involved in creating the mood by helping selecting props and location suggestions for the reconstruction as well as scoring the film. A film that has gone on to rate very highly for channel 4 online. It was shortlisted for an AIB award.
This film uncovers a hidden file that exposes alleged corrupt dealings by some senior detectives in the Metropolitan Police who are suspected of having close links to organised crime and gangsters in Britain, which led to landmark murder investigations going unsolved, like the murder of Stephen Lawrence. This file has been covered up for over 30 years. |

A challenging but very rewarding film to make.
I set the visual style for the series. This was a picture poor film with no presenter, so I came up with the idea of shooting the city and financial district as well as local streets around the UK as a theme in the series. We did this, using a rig that allows you to get these imposing shots of buildings which helped to bring out the difference between normal residential streets and tower blocks against the glistning buildings in the financilal district. I also chose all the music for both films in the series and worked closley with my PD to create the look and style of the graphics cards in the films. |
