Factual Entertainment Senior Producer & Director who started in TV production over 30 years ago as a Production Secretary at Granada TV where I worked for Russell T Davies, Tony Wood and David Liddiment amongst others.   I made the leap to Tape Viewer on You've Been Framed which enabled me to apply for researcher role on This Morning with Richard and Judy.  Then onto Programme Editor Granada Breeze, the lifestyle channel that launched the careers of Richard Hammond, Claudia Winkleman and many talented people behind the camera.

After Breeze I moved onto my first PD role - Better Homes with Carol Vorderman, then followed many daytime and lifestyle programmes until I was asked to be Editor of the Breakfast show on Channel M in Manchester. Like Breeze, Channel M was a fantastic springboard for talent including BBC Breakfast presenters Ben Bland & Nina Warhurst and once again, for some amazing talent behind the cameras. After Channel M, I moved back to my first love, Location PD and was now establishing my skills as a Self Shooting PD until I decided to take time out to study for my NCTJ in Broadcast Journalism. 

My most recent work has been as Series Director Producer on Holidaying with Jane McDonald for C5 where we were lucky enough to go to Africa, the Caribbean, Japan, and the Canaries and then as Shooting PD on BBC's Countryfile, a role I've really enjoyed.
