I am an award-winning journalist and BAFTA Award-Winning filmmaker based in London. I have a strong background in TV production but also in independent documentary and investigative journalism, and across all these platforms, I excel at telling character-driven stories in a compelling and accessible way. I'm a confident self-shooter, researcher and interviewer with a strong editorial eye. I have written and directed short films for the BBC, Sky Documentaries, ITV, Together TV and TIME.com. My latest film, 'Our Land', won a BAFTA in the Short Form Category (2022), and won awards at several BAFTA qualifying film festivals, and I am currently directing a BFI-funded documentary called 'The Keeper', which follows the journey of a Scottish laird attempting to undo concentrated land ownership from within. As a trained journalist with ten years in the industry, I am very experienced negotiating sensitive access, working on complex investigations and developing close working relationships with contributors, and my drive and dedication has taken numerous stories from inception to delivery.
