In this role I conducted in depth background checks, keeping thorough and clear records of any posts, articles and comments the contestant had made that would deem them unfit to appear on the show or raised concerns about their mental wellbeing. I wrote detailed profiles of each contestant and liaised with senior members of my team to ensure that they were aware of any potential problems, as well as offering suggested solutions. This role required I use sound judgement and editorial skills while assessing each candidate and the impact material could have on their career and mental wellbeing. I conducted psych interviews, detailed contestants’ responses to questions and referred them to a psychologist when required. |

In this role I made travel arrangements for over 140 individuals across the UK. This included scheduling flights and trains during a historic rail strike, booking taxi’s and booking accommodation. I communicated with each contestant directly and handled all other trip-related bookings. I was first contact for the hotels and effectively communicated our bookings, double checking to make sure all of our contestants were accommodated. I was on call 24/7 and am immensely proud of the work I achieved and the part I played in helping individuals participate on a quiz show.

I kept a running log of potential contestants and reported to multiple executives about the demographics they represented and their potential. |
