Working in the depths of the pandemic to get Jack around the globe without a trace of carbon footprint, I had to work closely with our researchers, coming up with ideas for Jack to leave the UK to embark on his travels, without the use of a single airplane.
Contacting and making good relationships with fixers in Morocco, South Africa, Maldives, China and Asia; entering from China, Thailand, Singapore.
Communicating with sailing ships in Cornwall for Jack and the crew to travel and sleep on, coordinating for our pilot and his flying go kart from the UK to arrive into Morocco for Jack to fly around Morocco's solar farm. South Africa to visit: Kelp Forest, dried dams (from draught), Table Table Top Mountain - for drone shots and filming.
Liaising with fixers for our recces, drone licensing, filming permissions, logistics of travel.
I had to monitor our carbon footprint for each trip and come up with new ideas/solutions to travel.

A new comedy pilot for BBC3, filming on location in SE London; Managing location base setup for covid and general production needs i.e; wardrobe, green room, separate tables and toilets for those who had been PCR tested. Making unit base and location covid secure and all correct PPE was ordered and liaising with crew regarding PPE. Contracting crew, negotiating equipment deals, crew deals, logistics of transportation of all equipment, liaising with Location Manager on logistics; parking as close as possible to our location, parking at unit/unit move, cost reconciliation, risk assessment including covid-19 risks/protocols, liaising with 1st AD and producers regarding scheduling. Attended shoot for any on-set needs from the crew, cast, production team. |
