I’m a London-based self-shooting producer, videographer and editor. I take projects from first idea through shoot and edit to delivery. My background mixes editorial, music and branded content, so I’m as at home interviewing someone on camera as I am lighting a set-up or cutting a fast social edit.Most recently I was Content Manager and Creative Lead at OOHyes, an out-of-home advertising company. There I ran content strategy, video, photography and copy, and filmed real-world campaigns and live activations across London. Before that I was Video Producer at pointblank Music School. I kept their weekly YouTube schedule running for over a year with tutorials, artist interviews, filmed masterclasses and promo content.Interviewing is at the heart of what I do. I spent two years as a freelance journalist for Bass Guitar Magazine, interviewing artists and writing features and reviews. I’ve also presented on camera, including my own channel, Bass Man Jack. I know how to put contributors at ease, ask the right questions and spot the soundbite.I’ve also been a professional bass guitarist for over 20 years, working with artists including Simply Red, Craig David, Paul Young and The Hoosiers.
