This has furthered my understanding of the commissioning landscape, which I established through cutting showreels for presenting talent. Within development, I specialise in sizzle reel editing, producing intricate trailers, pilots, graphics and additional short form content. Being proficient in Adobe Premiere, After Effects and Photoshop, I am skilled at creating premium packaging to acommpany ideas. As a result, I have been involved with successfully marketing a broad range of ideas to several major broadcasters, SVODs and A-list talent. My experience developing across a variety of unscripted genres, including documentary, premium factual, natural histroy, and adventure is reflective of my broad range of interests and skills. I believe my work on ITV's 'Shark!' is a testament to the benefit of this, combining my experience in Fact Ent with my Zoology degree. My degree also speaks to my passion for the natural world and has enabled me to thrive when researching on several natural history productions.
Read LessAndrew has been a creative mastermind for our filming sequences which resulted in six short films about how to find certain wildlife and heritage on the Gwent Levels for the Living Levels Landscape Project. These accompany a toolkit for ambassadors on the Gwent Levels to help promote the area's Sense of Place. Andrew filmed each sequence and returned to film particular wildlife or landscapes that would accompany pieces to camera. He then edited the short films ready for putting on the Living Levels website. Myself and my colleague Louisa were delighted with the films, in particular how they cut to the things we are talking about, including the sounds of particular wildlife. We would love to work with Andrew again when the next opportunity arises!
