I am a mutli-award winning, BAFTA and Emmy nominated documentary filmmaker, who produces distinctive and gripping films that draw in huge global audiences and receive critical acclaim. The hallmark of my work is taking the audience on a journey to understand why people do the things they do within the wider social and cultural context that story occurs. I deliver complex and sophisticated films that include thought provoking retrospectives that cover hugely sensitive and important topics, as well as reactive, unfolding narratives with often challenging access that require high levels of experience. I consistently push the edges of creativity to find innovative ways to tell stories, and I am happy to work with crews or to self-shoot.
