Making films is my profession, hobby and essentially my life. At present I work across America, Asia, Africa and Europe filming the biggest live events, adverts for an array of brands and city scenes for tourist boards. My client list includes production houses such as Pulse, Chrome and Final Kid, and I’ve made films for Gap, Sonos, the FA cup, as well as government agencies in Japan, the Netherlands and the UK.One area I have specialized in is VFX based timelapse. I have progressed over the past five years from traditional time-lapse films to a more VFX-heavy style of hyper-lapse, sometimes known as “flow motion”. Using advance post-production techniques and a lot of pre-planning, I try to seamlessly link multiple shots together to give the viewer a unique journey zipping through a city or event.Another part of what I do is camerawork specializing in gimbal operation. My biggest contract at the moment is filming Ultra music festivals, which now operate in 15 countries. A strong team player, I am involved in filming these events on RED cameras and shooting all the hyperlapses. I also own a Sony Fs7 and have a lot of experience with Canon c300 series. I also own 3 x Canon 5d Mk 4 for timelapse work.For the last three years I’ve also worked closely with an NGO called Dream Big in the Volta region of Ghana. I’ve made several films highlighting the positive impact of its sanitation, adult literacy and female fashion initiatives. I also help run a small music festival in Ghana, where all the proceeds go to the NGO.My ambition is to tell stories as a cameraman and to work with other committed people on exciting projects.
