As a Props Supervisor/Art Director in Live theatre I have almost 10 year experience. Having found my love for the Art Deparment on the Stage I am now looking to go back to my roots of TV and film production. I have built a career of various Art Department roles where I have been responsible for outsourcing work to contractors, managing budgets, the time of freelance staff, and their workflow as well as overall workshop quality control. I am often the main liaison to other departments; especially construction, special FX, props, transportation and graphic design. I am responsible for attending all production meetings to provide an update on the project and relay information across departments. Undertaking these tasks has given me a diverse transferable skill set and strong work ethic that have allowed me to thrive in a high pressured work environment. Any role in the art department can require working long and demanding hours. I enjoy that intense level of involvement and always bring good humour and a positive attitude to any situation. I am a committed and highly organised person. I am self-motivated and excel when working under pressure in a busy production environment. I adapt well to the different scales of a project, from working independently to being part of a larger team. I thrive when challenged, I can bring a unique perspective to identify problems and demonstrate innovative solutions. I value flexibility throughout my practice. I have developed quick learning and strong problem- solving skills and maintain excellent communication and interpersonal skills through the busiest times.
