I would describe myself as experienced, diligent and extremely passionate about working in this industry. I have directed, produced and filmed across a number of high-profile, primetime docs for BBC, CH4 and ITV. I am a confident and creative self-shooter who also offers strong editorial and journalistic skills, and the ability to form trusted relationships with contributors throughout a production.I am no stranger to challenging access situations as previous jobs have taken me into institutions such as Humberside Police custody, Cheshire Fire and Rescue and Post Office Ltd. I have secured access to film in several American prisons/jails with the prerequisite that they were hosting a wedding during our filming period, and I have demonstrated my hardiness on many occasions, not least during the production of CH4's Bouncers, where I spent a considerable amount of time freezing my toes off outside Newcastle night clubs...
