I am a factual development and documentary researcher based in India, with a strong interest in premium factual programming, investigative documentaries and character-led stories that explore the political, economic, social and cultural forces shaping our world. My approach to development combines story research, editorial thinking, fact verification and an understanding of how complex real-world subjects can be developed into compelling, accessible screen narratives for UK and international audience. My areas of interest include geopolitics, current affairs, economics, finance, history, social justice and human stories that offer fresh perspectives on familiar issues.

My background includes film and television studies at the Univeristy of Toledo in the United States and creative media production training in South Thames college in London, United Kingdom, alongside experience across documentary research, factual projects and independent film work. I am particularly interested in working with production companies, development teams and creative producers to identify original stories, investigate subjects in depth, establish access to contributors and archive material and develop strong editorial propositions for broadcasters and streaming platforms.

I am currently developing my portfolio of documentary ideas, including After the Finish Line, a short documentary exploring the life and experiences of a retired horse jockey. I am keen to build long-term professional relationships within the UK factual television and documentary industry and to contribute to ambitious, well-researched projects with distinctive perspectives, international relevance and strong storytelling potential.
