I am an experienced Self-Shooting Producer.Director, DV Director and past Editor who has organised and produced shoots for numerous Factual Entertainment, Observational and Blue Light series in the UK and Europe delivering Stories, Rushes and problem solving both technical and creative solutions for the production and Talent alike.
Many of my credits have been working alongside great UK series such as,
'Food Unwrapped', 'Cash in the Attic', 'Farmers Country Showdown' and 'A New life in the Sun' where here in Italy i travelled the length and breadth of Italy filming UK couples as they manage their new lives. A skiilset very useful here was to hit the ground running with bios of the couples and being able to insert myself briefly into their lives and almost become their confidant with a camera.
I have a great Technical knowledge working with many broadcast Cameras and Drones including Sony line FS7/FS5, FX3/6, GoPro's and DJI Drones, Mavic 3 and Inspire 2/3. So I am quite able and confident to fix technical issues on the fly away from backup and kit houses. One example was on 'A Farmers Country showdown' when the Sony FS7 flagged an error and I couldn't control Iris or Focus. I problem solved this to the lens connection being loose and fixed it.

Police: Nightshift 999My Directing experience includes UK and Europe shoots for major UK series as both single and crew-based Self-Shooter organising presenters and Contributors around time-constraining shooting schedules and people with limited time to spare for filming. I work well to organise shoot days around shoot notes but I also bring my own creative style, yet keeping within the production and showrunners format.
Additional Television experience includes working with PDs as DV Director and second camera person filming Master IVs, OTFs, cross-shooting and gathering GV's & B-Roll for narrative, actuality or Documentary programmes.
I own and work extensively with Sony PXW FS7 (Owner/Operator) and have experience with Sony FX6/9, Canon C300, GoPro and DSLR cameras using different formats for shooting on location or set.
My Drone equipment includes:
- DJI Inspire 2 with Zenmuse X7 S35 Camera and Lenses. (Pro-Res and Cinema DNG)
- DJI Inspire 2 with Zenmuse X5s M4/3 sensor and various lenses. (Shoots H264/Mov and in Pro-Res and Cinema DNG Files)
- DJI Mavic 3 Cine Package with Apple ProRes 422 HQ, Apple ProRes 422, and Apple ProRes 422 LT encoding at a maximum data rate of 3772 Mbps.
- DJI Avata FPV Drone Video Format MP4, Max Bitrate 150Mbps, and Standard and D-Cinelike profiles.
Specialist Experience: Drone Pilot/Camera in Night filming operations and flying in sensitive areas such as Aerodromes, inside buildings, at events, and in Extreme environments.
I am adaptable in organising complex aerial shoots for broadcast involving obtaining legal flying permissions and creating complex risk assessments, obtaining required permissions, and liaising with notifying authorities regarding aerial shoot plans, logistics and needs in the UK and Europe.
