I am enthusiastic about the arts and culture sector and am currently seeking work in production companies as a runner. I am emailing to express my interest in the possibility of working as a runner for any current or future projects your company is doing.I undertook a number of projects with filmic elements whilst at university, including trailer filming for theatre productions, music videos for a Capella groups, and voice acting in audio dramas. These opportunities gave me new an insight into recorded media and has since become my primary focus for my career. I am due to begin working for Junior Drama and Film Company where I will work with young people to help them create their own films from conceptualisation, through production and editing. I am passionate about facilitating work for others, especially young people, but also am hoping to utilise this opportunity to develop my own technical understanding of film production which would make me a valuable asset on future production projects.I have a driving licence, a can-do attitude, and thrive working collaboratively in small teams. Although I come from a theatre-centred background, I have a wide range of practical production skills (from administrative duties to on-hand production coordination), which I am continually applying in a range of working contexts. Outside of the theatre and film sectors, I have been supporting myself through warehouse, office and bar work, all of which requires strengths in adaptability and inter-personal skills which are highly transferrable qualities for a production runner.
