My name is Joe Shaw, a 23 year old Media Production graduate located in Finsbury Park, London. I believe I am suitable for the role of Digital Marketing Assistant due to my years of experience in the hospitality sector, allowing me to be fast on my feet. My confidence and my can do attitude when it comes to creating a positive customer experience and the way I have created my own online presence using my learnt Media Production skills and freelance photography business.I am a confident individual with 5 years customer service under my belt, all of which have been completed in a fast paced hospitality environment. I have 2 years managerial experience, including my position as Deputy Manager at a successful Central London restaurant.I am incredibly passionate about the LGBT community and I like to get involved in activism work where possible. I was lucky to be given the opportunity to photograph events for the LCR Pride Foundation in Liverpool on a voluntary basis, and I was featured in OPEN Media’s digital out of home campaign for Pride Month. My university course required me to complete a placement module, for which I earned a first. The placement was at OPEN Media, an out of home media owner, and in this role I worked on a range of tasks including social media, photography, and writing blog posts.I am a creative person and like to keep busy in my spare time, with hobbies such as running an Instagram account for my photography work, and hosting my own podcast on pop and LGBT culture.
